About Me

Consultant, programmer, developer, nerd, son, brother, friend and general technology fan.

That's me.

I consider myself to be much more of a left-brained person than a right-brained person. I can have my creative moments but they're usually so short that I don't even recognize them as such.

I've been involved and genuinely interested in all aspects of technology for well over a decade. What started off as tinkering with Windows 3.11 for Workgroups gradually escalated into what I am and the stuff I do now.

During high school, I took every computer related class I could (even took CAD to become familiar with drafting software) and attended the Muncie Area Career Center's Cisco Networking class for half days during my Junior year. After graduating, I enrolled in the Information Services program at Indiana Business College to further my exposure to technology.

My desire and interest in technology has done a good job leading me down the career path I find myself today. Through people who have been exposed to my skills and through small ventures I've started on my own, I've been self-employed for my entire work life.

Among many things, I'm on the Advisory Board at the Muncie Area Career Center and offer whatever help and direction I can for their expanding IT Academy. I'm also an active contributor to the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) which develops data standards for the real estate industry.

When not working (which isn't often but it happens), I enjoy spending time at my family's lake property in northern Indiana.
